Acid Mine Water is treated through a simple cost affective
redox process, which enables pit water to be discharged or
reclaimed for operational use.
Suspended metals and particulate matter are oxidised and
precipitated, leaving the crystal-clear water separated from
the concentrated mineral dense sludge. The benign
precipitate sludge can be reprocessed or discarded as
waste material.
Treated water is suitable for mine operations suppressing
dust on haul roads, washing vehicles, and results show fish
happily live in treated water.
It is critical our laboratory analyse the content of the pit
water, as each mine will have a different composition,
allowing custom solutions for each application.
